It is an honor and privilege to extend my warmest greetings to each one of you in 26th Anniversary of PCI-IOSS spine surgery summit in conjunction with 2024 Annual Meeting of the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery, Asia-Pacific Section ISASS AP 2024 which will be held in the culturally rich city of Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

This workshop and symposium stand as a beacon of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration in spine surgery. We will embark on a journey of learning, exchange of ideas, and the sharing of groundbreaking research and advancements in spinal care. Our collective presence here represents a commitment to pushing the boundaries of advance spinal management, exploring the latest technologies, surgical techniques, and interdisciplinary approaches that will redefine the landscape of spine care worldwide.

Moreover, beyond the scientific program, I encourage you all to embrace the diversity of perspectives, cultures, and the uniqueness of Jogja, the special region in Indonesia. As the only Indonesian royal city ruled by a monarchy, Yogyakarta is regarded as an important center for classical Javanese fine arts and culture such as batik textiles, drama, literature, music, poetry, silversmithing, visual arts, wayang, and is also known for the magnificence realm like Merapi mountain and Borobudur and Prambanan Temples.
